Nikwax Wind Resistor is a water repellent, wind resistant, stretchy fabric, which provides excellent moisture vapour transfer,

How will my Wind Resistor garment outperform standard softshell?

Nikwax Wind Resistor offers a great balance of performance and comfort. Lighter in weight than many other equivalent fabrics, it provides good water repellency and a quick drying alternative that will reduce the effects of wind-chill, while still being highly breathable. It is also UV resistant and able to protect against biting insects because of the dense weave.

The fabric is very comfortable when worn next to skin. However, the fabric is extremely tough and durable, so suitable for use in many different environments without damage.

In what kind of weather conditions can I use my Alondra Trek Trousers?

The water repellent and wind resistant fabric provides protection in wet and windy conditions and reduces the effects of wind-chill.

Designed for 3 season use, these trousers are great from spring to autumn, but are not intended for harsh winter conditions. Under these circumstances, a pair of Analogy waterproof trousers would be more appropriate.

Which garments should I use with my Nikwax Wind Resistor to get optimum performance?

We recommend using our Parameta T+ underwear underneath the Wind Resistor legwear for maximum comfort.

These trousers combine well with any of our baselayer, midlayer or waterproof tops.

Working closely with Nikwax, we have developed a pioneering PFC-free treatment for our fleeces, waterproofs and windproofs.
