Retailer Sales Administrator – Fixed Term Contract – Full or Part-Time

Páramo, the award winning technical outdoor clothing brand, requires a Sales Administrator to join our Retailer Sales team on a fixed term basis.

The Role

Working as part of a small, dedicated sales team, this role involves providing administrative support and assistance to the Retailer Sales Office Manager in order to ensure that tight deadlines are met and sales targets achieved.

Key duties will include:

  • Maintaining regular contact with our retailers
  • Ensuring retailers are kept up to date with the latest information about the range and stock availability.
  • Making and answering sales calls and processing orders.

An interest in the outdoors or outdoor activities would be beneficial, but not essential, in promoting the brand and products. Training on our range, garments, and aftercare will be provided.

The Person

You will be a hard working individual with a proactive approach who can work equally well in a team as using your own initiative and self-motivation.

The right person will have a confident, professional approach and telephone manner, as well as excellent organisational skills. You will have a minimum of GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) and preferably a sound knowledge of Word and Excel.

This role will initially be offered on a fixed term basis until the end of November 2017.

The hours required for this role are flexible and we will consider applications from individuals seeking full or part-time employment.

IT Support Administrator

Nikwax, a leading international manufacturer of waterproofing products for clothing, footwear and outdoor equipment, requires a Support Administrator to join our IT team.

The Role

As the IT Infrastructure expert you will be responsible for running the IT Helpdesk and dealing with both 1st and 2nd line support. The successful candidate will need to be experienced with a significant degree of exposure to Microsoft products and technologies including Active Directory, Exchange, Windows Server and Windows 7. There should be a sound knowledge of networking and preferably some exposure to SANs and virtualisation. Also some knowledge of SQL Server is desirable but not essential.

Key areas of responsibility will include allocating helpdesk jobs; backups; email system management and web content filter administration. You will be expected to troubleshoot and resolve desktop based system and printer related issues promptly in order to provide efficient and effective user support. There will be some out of hours support required for our satellite offices around the world.

The Person

You will be a conscientious, numerate individual with an eye for detail, organised with good communication skills (both written and verbal); strong problem solving abilities; with the ability to be calm under pressure and to work under your own initiative.

The successful candidate should have a good standard of education and sufficient relevant experience. Ideally they would have a minimum of two years experience in a similar role and hold one or more of the following Microsoft certifications: MTA, MCSA, MCSE, MOS or MCTS.
